Your launch-day planner
Choose your setup, enter your primary and backup launches, and check each reminder as you prepare. Print an unchecked copy for use at the ramp, or save a working plan on this device. Start fresh before every trip.
0 of 18 reminders checked. Checkmarks track your preparation; they do not certify a safe launch.
Nothing in this planner is submitted to Boat Ramp Scout. Saving is optional and uses this browser’s local storage. Printed and saved plans are snapshots; check conditions again before the next trip.
A backup should solve the same problem
If you tow a boat, select another documented trailer launch with legal trailer parking. A nearby kayak entry is a different kind of access. For paddlecraft, compare the carry route, footing, entry conditions and parking instead of assuming a concrete ramp is the easiest choice. See how to read the launch and parking fields.
Recheck the return trip
Gate hours, weather and water conditions can change while you are afloat. Give the retrieval window the same attention as launch time. The water and weather guide explains what to check. Follow local requirements and the craft, trailer and vehicle manufacturers’ procedures.
